TP-LInk Wi-Fi on iPhone and other Apple devices losing Internet connectivity.
Hardware Version : v1 00000000
Firmware Version : 0.9.1 0.1 v004b.0 Build 170707 Rel.58427n
ISP : Shaw Communications (Internet 150 for Business)
Is anyone having issues with TP-Link routers and Wifi on Apple products? We have a TP-LInk Archer C3200 and TP-LInk C7 router, and both seem to have issues with Apple devices.
Wi-Fi "seems" to be solid on all devices we own with the exception of our iPhones and iPads. iPhones connect fine and the connection to the Wi-Fi seems solid, but the Internet will stop working at random (usually after about 10-15 mins) and the only way to get it working again is disabling and re-enabling the Wi-fi on the iPhone.
This is my third TP-Link router and it seems to be a consistent problem with our Apple devices. This problem has been with me for over 2 years!
We also have the Ubiquiti access point we sometimes connect to and the iPhones work fine on that network, but it only supports 2.4.
Prior to this we owned a D-Link router and had no issues with Apple products.
Note: I have all the latest firmware and iPhone updates. I've tried numerous settings within the router. I've replaced my modem and then upgraded my modem to a business plan using a static IP with my ISP. I've tried the router in different locations. I've even performed an exorcism on my TP-Link router which has helped about as much as everything else I've tried.
Does anyone have a solution?

@Tramler666 you need to reset your WiFi router
then do this
after booting your router
change the LAN address from 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.47.1 and set the range till 47.20 or 30
then setup your WiFi settings name and password
now reset your iPhone network settings
and connect your iPhone you won't find any issues
I've fixed my iPhone WiFi use to go on sleep it's fixed by doing this method thank god it's working perfect now

i changed the DNS to match, but still having the same problem, did you do this on a iPhone also? And did you change anything else?
What is the model number of your TP-Link router?
Does the iPhone fail to connect to the wireless network of the router, or does it connect to the router's wireless network but show no internet connection?
If it is the former, there is no need to change the DNS settings on the router, but you need to check and ensure you're entering the correct password, or changing the password for a try.
If it is the latter, you may follow this FAQ to change the DNS on the router to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

Assuming that your iOS device can connect to the WiFi network successfully (see post above this one if it isn't) then it should work for you.
The first step is to get the DNS Server addresses from your router. Make a note of both the addresses.
Then, you go to the Settings App on your iPad/iPhone, then go to WiFi Settings, and then select the relevant WiFi network (i.e. the one hosted by your TP-Link Router), then change the DNS from Automatic to Manual and enter in the DNS Server addresses that you gathered from you the router.
This website shows you how: Change your DNS servers on iOS
NOTE: Don't use the DNS Server addresses it shows you in the link. Use the DNS Server addresses from your router.

@dmaksymec Gday, I think we both have the same problem but what I did yesterday was go into the advanced settings and change the 2 DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
I had the whole house working fine but with any apple product it said it was not connected. It's been running for 24 hours now and have not any issues and been really fast. I have the Archer AXE 75
Sorry just saw up the post Kevin posed the same info.

Hey, it's annoying when your iPhone keeps jumping between Wi-Fi and mobile data, right? Let's see what we can do about that.
First, check if "Wi-Fi Assist" is turned on. It's a feature that automatically switches to mobile data when your Wi-Fi signal is weak. You can turn it off in Settings > Cellular.
Also, try forgetting and reconnecting to your Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, a simple refresh can fix connection issues.
If that doesn't work, restarting your iPhone can often solve minor glitches. And lastly, if you're still having trouble, you might want to check for a software update.
