@Kalle

Same hardware version? Are you from Sweden?

When did you purchase it? We would suggest you contact the local tech support to confirm what they can help with this:

@Kevin_Z

I have the same issue with my C1200 v3. Auto rebooting at anytime, at least once or twice a week.

logs show nothing except a reboot, and I am getting notified by some of my appliances that they lost connection to each other (on the internal network, so no internet issue).

My firmware version is 3.0.7 Build 20200831 rel.59087 (US)

Is there any new (or beta) firmware I could use?

Thanks

Fabrice

Hi Fabrice, there is no newer firmware for the Archer C1200 v3, before providing any newer firmware, please attempt the below to observe the outcome:
1. Put the router in a well-ventilated location or mount it vertically on a stand that permits the free flow of air, and use a fan to cool the router, a regular fan or USB fan is fine.
2. Set the WiFi Transmit Power to low (if the setting is currently set to high), and see if this helps with the reboot.
3. Turn the WiFi off completely and feel the difference of the heat output.

BTW, is there any special symptom when the router reboots itself, such as high load?

@Kevin_Z

Yes. I got the same hardware version on the replacement router. (V2.0)

I contacted tech support from the link you provided and got a new (beta?) firmware that I'm going to try out.

@Kevin_Z

1. The router is already in a well ventilated location

2. the Transmit Power was set to High on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. I put them to Low and will monitor the reboots.

3. if I turn the Wifi off, I lose the benefit of a wifi router :)   However, no excesive heat detected while ON or OFF

I experienced a reboot this morning. no specific traffic on this router - it is my secondary one, set as an AP and wired to the main router (Archer C7 v4 that is not experiencing any issues)
