hi everybody

on my home router archer D5 I have a problem with time syncronization. i use this router (192.168.1.2) as a dhcp server and wireless access point but not as an adsl modem, i have to use a modem (192.168.1.1) delivered from my adsl provider .

After an energy shutdown it restarts without the correct date and time, it starts from 1st gen 1970. I tried to insert some NTP server, that I can reach, but it doesn't syncronyze the time, if I push the button Get GMT time it replies Get GMT failed.

Anyone can help me ?

Hi Tiglat

D5 is the old modem router, now it is EOL.

If D5 is working in AP mode, the NTP function is not useful. So you shuold configure D5 in EWAN mode or working as modem router.
