Most probably you have a PPPoE connection, now you have to reconfigure introducing your login credentials from the provider.
If you don't have one like that, try putting your router on Access Point Best option is however to go Auto-Detect , if it gives you PPPoE do what I told you above!
To configure your router go to Command Prompt -> write ipconfig , check Default Gateway, go to your browser and write it Most probably : 192.168.0.1 There you go : ID : admin PW : admin
