Archer VR2800 V1 Continually dropping internet connection to ADSL
Hi,
This is driving me insane.
So:
Firmware Version:0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n
Hardware Version:Archer VR2800 v1 00000000
Symptoms: Gradual performance degradation with the slow/no loading of sites, buffering in streams and all the usual suspects. Only fixed by rebooting the router.
Investigations:
Firmware up to date
BT (provider) confirm no system issues or line issues
Happens with ALL devices
Happens with WIFI and wired connections
So it seems that the router just slows down and gives up.
Any previous experience of this and any fixes?
Rgds,
Paul

I have had a TP-Link VR600 for a few years on stanbdard settings and its very stable but just getting a bit slow with multiple users in the house. I upgraded it to the VR2800 and after a few days of excellent poerformance it started dropping the BT broadband connection and became unusable. Tried resets and reboots to no avail abd gave up and returned it.
Whyt is there such a difference between similar products on broadband stability?

I have the same problems and have checked the wiring and firmware all ok .
it seams to start after been online for a couple of hrs.
think it must be overheating?
I am on fibre line and have put my spare router online and am not having any connection problems.
