My C9 Archer router is losing its connection to the DSL modem whenever the DSL modem loses/regains sync.

The WAN link can be restored by powercycling the router.

How may I configure the C9 to avoid this problem?

Yes, and if you want to stay dry do not go out in the rain!

Hi Meriadoc, If your DSL modem try to re-syncs, the DSL modem will lost internet, since the router get internet from the DSL modem, the only way to forbidden that happen is to get a DSL modem which can work stablely.

@Kevin_Z

thank you Captain Obvious.

Yes, if the DSL sync was stable this would not be a problem.

My question had to do with the TP-Link products inability to handle temporary loss of sync, converting a temporary, self-repairing issue to an issue requiring a drive to the site and a reboot of the product.
