Hi everyone,

I have been away and on our return, my TPL MR6400 router still offers wireless internet access (via 4G) but my desktop which was cabled to the router has no access. Network connection on the DT shows "cable unplugged". I have connected the D-top to another inactive modem and the network port is fine. I have reset the modem and re-configured ....  same problem.

Is it possible for the LAN ports on the modem to have falied (all 4) ??  Is there a setting or similar that needs to be chanced, or could a storm (lighning) have affected the LAN ports but left the wireless and unit itself OK.

Any comments appreciated.

Hi,

What's the LAN led status? If it's not lit up, change cable and try other LAN ports.

And the best way to verify it is connect another desktop or device to the LAN port on the router. If same issue, it might be that LAN ports are dead.

Never heard of that storm would affect the LAN ports only.
