When do we have a new Firmware with this feature?
I have a lot of static IP Addresses in my HomeNetwork and don't like to change all manually...

TP-Link you have said that this will be a feature of a firmware update, WHEN?
It is basically a fundimental requirement, surely?
I asked another question that hasn't had a reply, Do any of the Deco range have a WebUI to allow manual, NOT smart app set up?
An answer would be helpful!

Hi,
We totally understand, while for the time to release the firmware, it is suggested to keep an eye on official website/Deco app.
And for the Web UI, our R&D colleagues are working on it as well and evaluate the feasibility.
Any updates, we will post on official website.
May it help and have a nice day.

Hi,
The new firmware is released already, while it is still under test to ensure its performance.
It is supposed to release the firmware to public in July.
Meanwhile, for the LAN IP's changing, in general, if the WAN DNS or WAN IP is in the same network segment as the LAN IP, it will cause the IP conflict. In general, if the WAN DNS or WAN IP is in the same network segment as the LAN IP, it will cause the IP conflict. You can change the the WAN DNS and make it not in the same network segment as the LAN IP to give it a go.
Below is the instruction:

When is "soon"? Do you have a roadmap?! It doesn't make sense that I can't set up my LAN IP. I saw your documentation that says the default LAN IP is 192.168.68.1 and after spending a whole afternoon changing all my hardcoded IPs (raspberries, MySQL, etc), I rebooted the main router and it changed to 192.168.0.1, and then to 176.x.x.x. This is really frustrating. I spent almost $200 in a router that doesn't include the option that any $15 router does.

Just because of this issue, I bought a single M5 unit this weekend, to replace my main M4. I can now finally set the LAN IP range.
This is a setting that literally every router I've ever used (probably around 20) has had. From the first very basic wired ones to complicated small business routers. I'm more than a little disappointed that it took TP-Link this long to offer this essential setting on the M4.
On the plus side, one M5 and two M4s seem to work quite well together.
