Archer T6E cannot connect to 5ghz (C1200 v2) ????
Hello all, I'm trying to connect to my new router using my new wireless card.
My router is the Archer C1200 v2 and my wifi card is the Archer T6E (both are capable of 5ghz AC).
However I can only connect using the slower 2.4ghz. What is going on?
Oh and here is a video https://youtu.be/zn0mLlqvgO4 -- Notice that Windows 10 disables the card when connecting, it's very strange.

OK after a lot of tweaking, it seems that the router will fail to verify any connections if WMM is disabled. This is the first time in my life that I have ever seen that. I guess I'll have to live with it. It connects fine now on both 11n and ac.

Hello, glad to hear that you solved your problem finally.
Back to your original case, it is weird. Did you try to change the wireless settings of 5GHz? Like wireless channel.
Besides, can it be detected by other wireless devices?
Good day.
