After resetting my router I cannot connect back to the internet

It should automatically default to dynamic ip, which most ISP's use. Some ISP's also require a phone call in order to verify the device.

What is the model number of your router? 

 

Generally speaking, we need reconfigure the router with configuration parameters given by ISP, including the username and password. So that we can make it work.
