I am trying to connect via usb a laserjet 3055 mfp to shate it on the network, however, after following the three steps or so that tplink suggests, the printer utility does not detect the printer and the sound that plays when you connect something to the ussb ports starts playing over and over again. the router does detect the printer correctly... I am using windows 10 and the driver installed (and uninstall to test if it was a driver issue), is a 64 bit universal PCL 6 driver from hp.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, 

 

Please ensure that you can print with it connects to the computer directly.

 

as you can see, the current printer is not included in the compatibility list. So we cannot guarantee that it will work with the router.

It is suggested to disable the firewall or anti-virus software on the computer to give it a go.
