Combine deco P7 and other TP-link power line adapter at the same speed AV600
Hello,
is it possible to connect a Deco P7 via another PowerLine Adapter (e.g. an TL-PA8010P) to the internet-router or attach another Powerline adapter (e.g. an TL-PA8010P) to the Deco P7 Powerline network?
greetings and thanks Sebastian
(sorry if that question was repeated but I could not find anything related to that)

Hey Sebastian,
is it the network layout you want? main router -- 8010P A, 8010P B -- Deco P7 If so, it is okay.
While the powerline function on Deco P 7 is used to act as the backhaul, it cannot build a powerline network with other powerline adapters.
Good day.

How about:
(ground floor) main router -- PA8010,
(first floor) WPA8630 -- Deco P7 (also with another P7 in the other room)?

Hi, it will still work, while the actual performance is related to the actual network environment.

Good day guys,
ahhh ok. I see, thats sad meanwhile everywhere at tp-link side is written that every powerline adapter is compatible.
@Kevin_Z : yes, ur almost right. I planned to create powerline network with a deco and using another powerline adapter to connect it to the router. Can I disable the blackhaul functionality in the deco or does it have a pairing mode?
But I think I will make it the way @Taky wrote:
"(ground floor) main router -- PA8010,
(first floor) WPA8630 -- Deco P7 (also with another P7 in the other room)? "
But i will use the TL-PA8030P KIT because two wifi's (WPA8630 and Deco P7) in the same room, are senseless.
So in my imagination it should look like:
router <cable> PA8010 <powerline> TL-PA8030P <cable> Deco P7-wifti with a second Deco P7 (first and second floor)
\\
<powerline> TL-PA8030P <powerline> WPA8630 (in the garage)
What u guys think, does this work?

Hi,
It still works in this way:
router <cable> PA8010 <powerline> TL-PA8030P <cable> Deco P7-wifti with a second Deco P7 (first and second floor)
\\
<powerline> TL-PA8030P <powerline> WPA8630 (in the garage)
While you still can connect them to each other as below:
router -(wired cable)--P7-- ( wired cable) 8030P--(powerline) 8630P--(wifi/cable) PC/phone
\\
(wireless) P7 -- (wifi/cable) PC/phone
May it help.

ahhh ok,
a goood alternative solution:
But isn't the speed reduced to AV600 when iam connecting a powerline adapter after Deco P7?
The powerline adapter has a theoretical speed of AV1300.

Hi,
the powerline function on Deco P7 is used to do the powerline backhaul, it won't pair with other powerline adapters. So you do not have to worry about that.
The powerline function on Deco P7 won't affect the performance of other powerline adapters, they are isolated.
Good day.
