Hi guys I need some shed of lights here :-).. I am planning to buy tp-link C5400 upon lookin on the specification it was super good but just wondering since there was no option to make it as an Access Point you know..if I just off it's dhcp server and make it just for wireless I was just wondering if the speed 1000Mbps @ 2.4GHz will still effect?or this is good if its in router mode?Thank you so much in advance guys....

Hi,

First, the Archer C5400 supports access point mode, below is the instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c5400/#video or https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2066/

And the wireless rate for 2.4GHz, which is 1000Mbps, is not the actual speed you can get, the actual speed is affected by the bandwidth you paid and the actual network environment, like distance, obstacles, other wireless devices.

Good day.

Hi Jezel,

Glad to help you; as you can see, very limited information was put on the brochure, that is why you get confused.

To get more details about the TP-Link product, it is suggested to read the user guide or datasheet.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c5400/#video

Good day.
