Hi,

What do you mean you lost the 2.4GHz network? More specific symptom will be better.

Meanwhile, what is the current wifi leds? Especially the 2.4GHz one.

Is the status of 2.4GHz normal? You can confirm it on the web interface of the router.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1523/  (This FAQ is no longer available now, you can visit here to login to the web interface)

Besides, did you try to power cycle the router, disable and re-enable the wifi function to give it a go?

Good day.

I got the same issue, bought TP-LINK archer C4000 router few days ago, at first i was able to connect to the 2.4Ghz and set up everything. After a day, out of sudden 2.4ghz went missing, could find the SSID at all, following 5Ghz disappear too. After hard reset, only 5Ghz SSID can be seen. 2.4Ghz totally gone.

Hi,

What is the 2.4GHz light? Does it come on when the 2.4GHz network gone?

If all the devices cannot see it? What is the status of 2.4GHz once you logged into the web interface?

Note: How to login: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1524/  (This FAQ is no longer available now, you can visit here to login to the web interface)

May I know how did you hard reset it? Holding the reset button / hole for 10s?

Besides, what is the current hardware and firmware version?

Thanks in advance. Good day.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Can you see the 2.4GHz network name on your device at that time? If you can see it but unable to connect to it, is there any error message?

What is the current firmware? Is it 180322?

Have you tried to change some wireless settings of 2.4GHz? Like channel and channel width.

Note: You can fix channel as channel 1, 6 or 11, and change channel width to 20MHz.

Besides, have you ever hard reset the device by holding the reset button/hole for 10s? If not, please give it a go.

Any updates, just let me know.

Good day.

Hi,

May I know if all the devices cannot see the 2.4Ghz ssid at that time? What about your laptop? Try to move them closer to the main router and check whether you can detect the 2.4GHz.

Meanwhile, what is the brand and OS version of your cellphone and laptop?

Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hi,

We totally understand your feeling, both of us want to sort it out.

May I know the distance between your device and the C4000?

Did you try to move it closer  to the main router and fresh the wifi list? Can you see the 2.4GHz then?

Good day.
