Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 3.15.2 Build 170803 Rel.60806n

I'm trying to limit the bandwith on my guest network.

1. I've turned on the bandwith controll on the "Bandwith Control" page.

2. I've turned on the bandwith controll on the "Guest network" page.

3. I set the limit as low as 5 kbps

4. I get between 200-300 Mbps (yes, that's an M).

So obviously something is not working. Anyone has a clue?

My setup is following. DHCP is off. I connect the C7 with a cable from ETH1 to the main router that handles IP sharing.

The guest network has "Allow Guest To Access My Local Network" turned on, since it wouldn't get an IP address otherwise.

I do not want to limit the normal WiFi (which I can't since I'm not using the WAN port on the C7).

Hi,

What is the current operation mode of C7? Is it access point mode?

Please show us the screenshots of the bandwidth control settings page to do further analysis.

With your device connected to the host network, what is the speed you can get ?

Good day.
