Hi

My extender will not work since chaging ISP

I went from sky to vodaphone and using a HHG2500 model router

All worked fine with sky broadband then changed to vodaphone

I tried all options to connect i.e "quick setup using WPS button" and option 2  - "quick setup using web broswer" , tried both multiple times but nothing works, the blue light signal is lit up and staying lit but there is no tplink extender in my connections list to connect to - i reset the extender and it shows up but can not connect to it, I repeat process and same happens

is there anything I need to do in my router settings?

or any other tips to get it working?

Thanks

Hi,

What is the light status of the 855RE?

From your description, it seems that the extender is working properly already, the reason why you cannot see the its wifi name is that you did not customize the wifi name, instead, you copied the main router's network name.

Below is the instruction to configure it:

Note: In step 3, it is suggested to create a different network name for the 855RE.

May it help and have a nice day.
