TL-MR6400 v2 - Sim Card Not Found After Firmware Update
I bought this device about six months ago and was running without issue.
I was in the process of upgrading other TP-Link device firmwares so also upgraded my MR6400v2 from stock firmware to current.
Since then I get constant disconnects saying "sim card not found". A power cycle resolves this issue but I wish to revert back to the original firmware.
Please provide link as older firmwares are not available on the TP-Link sites

I've tried to remove the sim card and put a new one: same issue
The only way to get something working is to reboot the router.
This issue appear 1 week after the upgrade. Before ugprade firmware, the router has worked pretty well for more than a year without any issue like that
Thanks

You can try to degrade the firmware to have a try. The firmware which is older than the current one is optional.

If still the same, please contact our tech support to check the warranty service.

Hi Kevin,
Can you also help to provide the previous firmware to me as well? (i think the previous firmware I had was a 2017 version) There is no available previous firmware versions available on the official website and the link below does not work.
I had tried to upgrade the firmware to v181219 below for MR6400 V2 due to issues with my router freezing every 15min or so.
After upgrading to the latest firmware below, I can no longer connect to the internet, but the status below shows that I am connected. However no data is sent or received to any websites. Or it will try and then stop halfway. So I am now left with no internet.
Many thanks for your help.

Good day.
The previous firmware is to fix the issue that Sim Card is not Found after Firmware Update.
Since the sim card is detected properly so that there is no need for the old firmware.
For your current issue, have you tried to change the DNS address on the router to be 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 to see if you could have the internet?
(it is under advanced>network>LAN settings, and after checking the DNS, please power off and back the router)
By the way, how long have you had the router?
Thank you very much!
