Firmware Version: 3.18.1 Build 171115 Rel.44481n

Hi, I saw this page for chromecast ultra settings https://support.google.com/chromecast/thread/355932?hl=en, but I cant find some settings like Multicast and IGMP on the settings of this router (WR940N).

Can someone point me to a file or video with a how to set the best settings to connect a chromecast ultra?

Using default setting the chromecast keeps disconnecting.

Thanks!

Hi,

Once you login to the web UI of the 940N, you can go to network-lan page to find IGMP proxy. You can enable it.

Meanwhile, you said the chromecast keeps disconnecting with default settings, what about other devices? Like the cellphone and laptop.

You can try to change some wireless settings to give it a go. You can change channel to channel 1, 6 or 11 and find the best one and change channel width to 20MHz.

What is more, please confirm that the current firmware is up to date.

Have a nice day.
