Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.4

Hi there guys, Arturo here, just trying to have a WDS configuration and not possible, seems like my router admin page is different than the one displayed here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/440/

WHat I want to do is, I have 2 Archer C1200 Routers, one is actually working fine but I want to use the second one as a bridged one, trying to do it via WDS but no luck because I have no option like that, so wondering what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Arturo

Hi,

For your information, the Archer C1200 V3 does not support WDS function, neither does C1200 v1&v2.

If you want to use the 2nd router to extend the wifi range, you can configure it as an access point and connect it to the main router by wired cable.

Below is the instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2066/

May it help and have a nice day.

I see, while cause the C1200 does not support WDS function, I'm afraid that we cannot achieve that.

And if you want to extend the wifi range, here are some choices: range extedner, powerline adapters.

Hope your kind understanding.
