It will take some time for the device's list to be refreshed. Please referesh the list and check again about 5minutes later.

If it is still the same after 5miniutes, please provide some details to locate the issue:

1. How many devices are connecting to the router at that moment? Please verify them on wired/wireless 2.4GHz/wireless 5GHz connection.

2. On  the TP-Link page, how many devices are showing? Please provide screen shots for both the device's list and DHCP list.

3. What't the hardware version on your router? How about the firmware version? Please check them at the bottom of your web management page.

4. Do you have any advanced settings on the router? Such as Address Reservation, MAC filtering etc.

5. How long have you had this router? Did it work fine before on this feature?

Besides, here is the link for you to contact TP-Link support.

@drrks

Thanks for your reply.

Without any wifi/wired clients showing up, can you see the online devices under Advanced-DHCP client list page?

What is the model number of your smart phone and its OS version?

May I know how many devices connected to the C9 at once? Please show us a screenshot of the DHCP client list page.

What is the current internet connection type and DHCP IP pool? Please show us a picture of it as well.

Have you ever setup any advanced feature, like access control?

Nice day.

@Kevin_Z For what it's worth, I have an Archer A6 v2.1 running 1.1.4 Build 20190923 rel.63745(5553).  It's in AP mode but it also doesn't show any clients.  Older firmware versions did.

I also have an Archer C50 v4 running firmware 0.9.1 0.2 v0093.0 Build 190125 Rel.6383n(4341).  It's also in AP mode and it does show the clients.

I feel like a recent firmware update broke the client list function...

I just got a TP-Link Archer A10, updated the firmware to latest (1.0.2 0.9.1 v1000.0 Build 190305 Rel.62969n(5553)).  I have the device configured in AP mode, DHCP disabled, advertising the same SSID and passwd for 2.4GHz/5GHz bands as the router (Netgear R7000) it's plugged into.  (My house is wired; I wanted better WiFi downstairs.)

Under "wired clients", I see the router and the PC I'm using to connect to the web interface.  Under "wireless clients" it sometimes shows one device but often shows zero.

If I disable the WiFi radios on the R7000 I can see the devices move to the AP -- they appear as wired devices in the connection list on the R7000.  All the devices connected to the A10 (mobile devices, Ring doorbell, Hunter irrigation controller) are working fine; they just don't appear in the connected device list.  The only time I've seen anything appear there is when I was using a MacBook Pro to configure the A10 over WiFi.

I had a TiVo box plugged into the A10, but that didn't show up in the Wired Clients list.  The PC I'm using to interact with the A10's web interface isn't plugged into it -- it's connected to the R7000 -- so it probably shouldn't even be in that list.

Seems like the feature is fully broken, at least in AP mode.  I don't recall it working any better with the initial firmware.

In a related story, the firmware auto-update doesn't work with the A10 in AP mode ("no internet").  I had to download it manually from the site.

@fadden I'm having this same issue and it's really frustrating.

I clearly have tons of clients connected. (30+)

In the tether app I don't see any clients and when logged into the router locally the Device List in Advanced... QOS is empty.

And even though I can access the internet on ALL connected clients, my router claims that it cannot access the internet.

This used to work as of 3 months ago or so. Not sure what would have happened.

@jerm

Exactly the same here. Archer C6 v2, firmware just updated to 1.3.0. AP mode, static IP.

Everything is going fine.. but no clients shown (wired/wireless) and the internet light is off.
