Hi!

Does Deco M9 Plus support DynDNS DDNS service out of the box? I don't see that in the user manual. This will help to decide on the purchase.

Morris.

Hi,

The Deco M9 plus supports TP-Link DDNS; once you opened the Deco APP, click more-advanced-TP-Link DDNS to enable and configure it.

Here is an instruction you can refer to:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1367/

May it help and have a nice day.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry, I misread your answer. I want to configure DynDNS DDNS and not Tplink DDNS as I am a paid subscriber for DynDNS. The link you posted seems to be for other routers which have web-based configuration page. So, DynDNS using Deco M9 Plus is possible?

This is what I see in the web-based app.

Hi Morris,

The Deco M9 plus does not support DynDNS DDNS, and the TP-Link DDNS is free, you do not have to pay for it.

Cause there is no faq available for Deco yet which we will send a request later, that is why I sent you the instruction to configure it on some wireless routers; the setup procedures are the same.

Good day.

I have purchased and installed M9 Plus. Is there any way I can block VPN access through that? I don't see IPSEC passthrough option in the setup.

Also, is there a way to log on and off the router from the ISP network for a given specific time say night 11 to morning 5?
