Question about LAN ports speed.
Hello there.
I've got this kinda older version of WR1043N (I assume first one) which suposed to be able to get LAN speed: 10/100/1000, but when I connect my PC via Cable (cat5e) any test via LAN shows my max internet speed connection around 120. (Laptop got 1000 lan card, when I connect directly to modem speed goes to my max. around 260). Is there any way to get full speed via router LAN ports? I've searched anything in options but couldn't found nothing.

Hi,
With your computer connected to the 1043N, what is the negotiation speed of your computer? Below is the instruction:

Meanwhile, have you ever tried to change another device to test the speed?
If possible, please download the speed test app on your cellphone and do a comparison analysis.
What is more, please tell us the hardware and firmware version of the router.
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hi again :)
Here's firmware and Hardware data You asked:
Firmware Version: | 3.13.15 Build 140319 Rel.41339n |
Hardware Version: | WR1043ND v1 00000000 |
So my PC connected via cable to router shows this:
As You can see it shows 1Gb/s while connected via cable, but when I run some speed test it gets only as this:
Tried connecting directly to modem and after that speed test shows how it should be:
Was confused cause router if I recall good should have all lan ports 1Gb/s. I've assumed that if I connect modem to router via cabel, and then cabel from router to PC it should get max speed like it does when I connect directly to modem.
If this does matters too but here's speed while connected to WiFi:

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Have you ever tried to hard reset it by holding the reset button/hole for 10s?
Meanwhile, when and where did you buy this TL-WR1043ND?
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hi,
Yes I've tried to rest (first thing I had done while those connection issues), it didn't help at all.
If i recall good I've bought it few years ago, some time after it was released.
After updating LAN card drivers and setting speed duplex to full 1Gbps didn't do nothing.
Perhaps there's option on router to change Speed&Duplex of LAN ports? I've search for it but can't find anything.
Maybe it's time to get some new one, but on the other hand this one let's say works almost perfectly.

Hi,
There is no option to change the speed/duplex of the LAN ports on this router cause it is years-aged.
Cause we tried everything we could, but still no avail; to get the expected speed, you can buy a new one with better performance, like the Wireless AC/AX routers.

May it help and have a nice day.
