Model: Archer C5400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.2 Build 20170912 rel.56240(4555)

I just bought an Acher C5400 and am unable to link the router to my TP-Link ID.

Followed the instructions as mentioned on the support page, but with no luck.

I think because of this IFTTT does not work.

It simply gives a message like unable to connect to cloud service

Any way to resolve the issue?

Kind Regards,

Frank Verschoor

@FMVerschoor

Try to use the Tether app to bind the TP-Link ID to your router. There is a FAQ you can reference. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1478/

Meanwhile, try to change another NTP server and ensure that the time settings is correct.

Any updates, please let us know.

I have the same problem. Using the Tether app to bind the cloud account with my router I receive 'unable to connect to tp-link cloud. Please try again later'.

@Laf87

Try to access the web UI of the TP-Link router and then change another NTP server and correct the time settings.

After that, you can go to basic-TP-Link cloud page to bind your device to the TP-Link ID.

May it help.
