Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20190726 rel.57101(5553)

After updating the Archer C7 firmware, the TP-Link Cloud account is logging out when leaving settings, even logging in again logs out the account when leaving settings or if you close the browser, this bug is present in this release.

What is actually happening is, by adding the TP-Link Cloud account, the local admin account should disable and only ask for the TP-Link Cloud password on the login home page to access Router settings, as was the case in the version.  previous, instead you are asking for the local admin password and this account no matter how much you add the TP-Link Cloud account and enable DNS TP-Link, when exiting or closing the browser, the settings seem to be gone, but if you  go to the login screen and select to sign in with the TP-Link Cloud account the settings are there.  This graphic error in the firmware needs to be fixed.

@GabrielM

Thanks for your feedback.

Do you mean that it still uses the local admin account to access the web UI of the Archer C7 even though you have bound the router to your cloud account?

Could you please send us a picture of the login page and the basic-TP-Link cloud page?

Besides, we will do a test at our lab in the meantime to verify whether we can reproduce it.

Any updates, we will let you know.

Good day.

@GabrielM

Thanks for your reply.

For your information, the new firmware supports accessing the web UI with the administration password and TP-Link ID both.

From the picture, it asks to enter the TP-Link ID underneath, please click and enter the TP-Link ID to login.

May it help and have a nice day.

However when accessing with the password admin is not shown Cloud account information, shows disconnected, even connecting if I log out and log in again the account is not logged in.  It has a bug.  Are there any engineers here that you can check?  If you continue to have these useless answers I will be required to sue TP-Link.

I believe Kevin means that you need click the Login with TP-Link ID option first.  If you login with admin password, it is the local web UI, absolutely you cannot find the cloud information.

Try to switch to TP-Link ID first; meanwhile, if it is the first time to access with TP-Link ID, you need enter the admin password first; and then you can log out and use the ID to access it and check the cloud info.

O que você acabou de dizer não faz sentido, porque no firmware anterior, quando você faz login com o Cloud, o usuário administrador é desativado.

Sorry but I haven't studied years in computer science to get useless answers.

This is the admin user.  As you can see there is the field to login to Cloud, but when exiting the admin user and logging back in admin, the cloud account will not show logged in, this is an error in the firmware admin user, which should have been disabled when logging in Cloud account  as happened in the previous firmware.

Another form error where in the QoS Download field, allowing for 8 characters, in form upload this error does not happen.

Smart Life Assistant menu only shows if English is sitting, not displayed if you select any other language.  Several places without Brazilian Portuguese translation.
