Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

It would be really usful to be able to see a Network Device connection / link speed.  The throughput figures are good too, but current connection speed would be fantastic, and is a feature I have had on previous routers.

Also, Mesh / AP topology / connection speed would be useful too.

@knappers

Per we discussed on another thread, we can get the signal icon on the Deco app now.

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/166268

While it is a good idea to add the feature to see a network device connection/link speed on the Deco app, we have noted that and will remind our R&D colleagues.

If need any further help, do not hesitate to contact us.

Have a good day.

What I was meaning was an actual link speed, as in Mbps, rather than pretty vague wifi icon.

Would assist greatly with fine tuning of AP and device placement and troubleshooting.

@knappers

Hello, thanks for your clarification.

We have noted that and will keep an eye on the similiar feedback.

And if there is a large amount of feedback, we will remind our R&D colleagues. Then they can work on it.

Have a good day.

@Kevin_Z

Kevin - when you are talking to your R&D friends - please mention the Archer C3150V2 Router that is in desperate need of a firmware uplift, reliability, compatibility with Tether App, 5Ghz stability and Performance - just to mention a few.  To be clear .. For the first 24 hours after a reboot, it is a lovely router...but then not so much, it is NOT ACCEPTABLE to need to reboot every 72 hours to get advertised performance
