Hardware Version: Archer C7 v2 00000000

Hello.
My internet service provider has installed a modem / router: ARRIS TG1692A.
So I want to use my Archer C7 AC1750 V2 TP-LINK Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router, as a wired repeater.
I set it up and the router is working ok, but the HD sharing that worked 100% is not working properly now.
Please, how should I configure Archer C7 as a wired repeater of ARRIS TG1692A modem / router?

Tks.

@webipsum

To configure the Archer C7 as a wired repeater, we need set it up as an access point.

For the difference between router mode and access point mode, please click here.

May it help and have a nice day.

Tks @Kevin_Z .

I could not configure with the first explanation of the video: I did not find the advanced option. I didn't find the option to switch to AP. Therefore, I could not connect to the router's LAN and AP's WAN.
I was able to configure with the second explanation, interconnecting router LAN with LAN which will be the repeater.
Does Archer C7 AC1750 V2 TP-LINK not have the Access Point (AP) option?
Very grateful for the attention.

Hello, your Archer C7 does not have operation mode toggle available, but it does not matter, we can configure it as the access point manually as the second explanation as you said.

Note: For the router who supports Operation mode-access point mode, we need connect the internet port to the front-end router to get internet.

While for your own one, we need use the LAN port instead.

Good day.
