How to force connect to particular Deco
Hi,
I am wondering, wether it is possible to set, to which Deco unit should be connected concrete device.
My example: I have 3 Decos and in some rooms, there are air purifiers, cameras or gateway. As I checked, for example gateway is not connected to Deco, which is in same room, but to another, which is far away. And gateway reports, that signal is bad. And as I not move with this gateway, I want to force to stay connected to Deco, which is in same room, 2 meters from it, so from signal point of view, it should be much more better.
So, how to force it and how to set, that this device should be connected to expected Deco?
Thank you!

Why should this be Deco's workflow design issue to resolve?
The network is the network. The devices need to change their designs for mesh technology.
If I move a device from one room, floor, or building to any place else then it is I and that device that is the changing variable. The Deco did not move.

Guys, I was playing around and found a setting which now helps in connecting to the nearest deco unit "automatically".
Launch Deco App->click on more->go to Advanced Settings->scroll down to Fast Roaming option. It was disabled by default and I enabled it. This has resolved my issue. Give it a shot, I tested this with my mobile and it is working.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Is there any chance that you could start a new thread with the following information:
1. Is your network topology like ISP modem-----<cable>---main Deco X20-----<Wi-Fi>---satellite X20----<cable>----Apple TV?
2. is Apple TV the only device affected?
3. Have you set up any static IP on the TV before?
4. Would there be an error message on the TV?
Moreover, is this Apple TV a normal network TV which does not require an IPTV service subscription, right?
Thank you very much.
