I wanted to ask where I can find the firmware version upgrade for the TL-WR850N ?

Unable to find the model on the Support site.

Fairly certain that it requires one because it keeps disconnecting every now and then (randomly) from the internet.

Internet may actually be on, have to reboot the router for it to start functioning again...

We know if internet is working or no because the router is able to detect the internet connectivity, however, seems to be unable to pass it on wirelessly.

 

Modem from ISP seems working throughout since the lights come up as expected.

 

Awaiting to hear from you in the comments, might not have this account later since I didn't want to create one with my own ID for an ISP provided router.

Firmware Version: 3.16.0 0.9.1 v6011.0 Build 180801 Rel.60297nb

Hardware Version: TL-WR850N v2 00000002

 

P.S. Selected TL-WR840N since TL-WR850N isn't an option available...

For your information, the TL-WR850N is a customized device based on the specific request of ISP.

 

It is recommended to contact the ISP to verify whether the firmware is available to update.

Note: ISP is short for internet service provider.

If this product is customised for ISP's, then why this product is available in local market in India.  why not give the firmware update.

I have updated the firmware and now my router working.
But custom firmware not TP link Firmware.
If you want to upgrade let me know.
