Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have followed all the in instruction accordingly. (including turning on VLAN to choose Malaysia Unifi). the light on the deco remains Red.

this are the steps I did.

1. turn off unifi modem

2. connect Lan port 2 of unifi modem to deco port (either one)

3. power on unifi modem

4. power on deco

5. all ok and I enter my own wifi network name (different from what already configured earlier by unifi technician).

6. when asked to setup network for deco, I used a new name and password.

7. when it try to connect to the new wifi network, the deco light remains Red.

TM Unifi on modem is LAN port 1, LAN port 2 is for Maxis, don't forget to select ISP "TM Unifi"

@leng

Hi first, please power on the unify modem after the Deco has booted up.

Then try to reconfigure it by enteringr the username and password given by ISP and enable VLAN.

Meanwhile, you can swap the locations of the Decos to give it a shot.

Still the same, please check is there any error message on the Deco APP.

Good day.
