@Omg7788 Mine are M4 v1 hardware, I don't know what are the differences between v1 and v2.

On mine the pings are ok, to the main deco or to an outside url (www.google.com for ex., I have the latest 1.4.2 build 20200727 rel. 37987) installed on both deco's

The same issue is occurring with my laptop (Acer Nitro 5 Spin) .... it's connected to the deco network but shows "no internet" while it works pretty fine on my iPhone ....please provide assistance to fix this problem.

@VCL

Hello,

I have to restart my router at least once a day as i get message saying WiFi connected and "no internet".

If i restart the router is works again but this is a real pain.

Do you have any idea what could be causing the problem???

Regards

@DanSven
Can you please share what your setup looks like?

Eg: Deco is setup as router or just access point?

@Omg7788

Hello,

I have three decos, the main one is connected to the router with a LAN cable and is setup at a router. I deactivated the wifi on the router and everything works perfectly. But at least once a day i lose internet and have to restart the router to regain internet access.

Regards

Daniel

@DanSven What are the isp you subscribe to? Unifi? Maxis? or others. You said you connect deco to router( please specify correctly is it MODEM or ROUTER )?

Setup option as below (which one is your setup):
1. Modem > Deco
2. Modem > Router > Deco

Please note that original setup for UNIFI will be Modem > Router.

@Omg7788

I live in Germany,

My ISP is a company called unitymedia they are owned by Vodafone.

These are the Technical details from the router:

Cable router with WLAN function (dual-band 2.4GHz / 5GHz)
WLAN according to 802.11 b / g / n / ac with up to 1300 Mbit / s
4 Gigabit LAN ports
2 telephone connections
WPA2 encryption, integrated firewall
WPS switch
integrated DHCP server
Dimensions: approx. 220 x 75 x 160 mm

I have connected the main Deco to the first yellow port. where the laptop in the picture above is connected. Then i clicked the wifi button on the front of the router to deactivate the wifi from the router so only the deco is sending out a wifi signal.

I'm having the same problems with a pair of M4 v.2 with the latest firmware and an iphone 11 pro max. I opened today a support case to tplink and I'm waiting for an answer. I have them in AP mode, both connected to my lan via ehternet and now I have 2 ios and another 2 android devices playing a 6h youtube video to see when it crashes.

@DanSven @Omg7788

Any new ideas? im still have the same problem...... i have a Ring doorbell, which when it doesn't work, because the internet is down is really irritating!!!!!!.

I have to constantly refresh the Decos or they stop working. How would i go about returning the decos and getting a refund, because this really is a waste of money at the moment!!!!
