Hi all :)

I have a home network and the re450 range extender.

I use both the 5g and the 2.4g.

My devices won't necessarily connect to the strongest wifi available (origin vs extender).

Would using the same ssid for the extender as the origin router solve this? If so - how do I do that?

If not - how can I fix this?

Many thanks :)

@Liran_b97

You can use the same SSID for the main router and extender both; While for the seamless roaming, it is still related to the client itself.

Anyway, using same SSID will help you to connect to the different APs more quickly to some extent.

May it help and have a good day.
