set up performed according to instaructions (WPS) All leds are on and stable but does not recognize the password which, according to the instructions should be the same of the modem. So I can't use the extender. Why? Do I need another password?

What is the model number of your range extender?

And you are right, the password to configure the extender should be the same as the main router.

Have you created a different name for the extender's wifi network?

Is there any error message that indicates you failed to connect to it?
