Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.02

My Archer C1200 (V2, firmware v2.02) keeps dropping it's WiFi. All devices connected through WiFi, both on 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz loose their connection and the SSD's are gone. If you wait about a minute, the SSID's return and you can connect again. This happens randomly and is quite frustrating.

The unit was only 60 euro's or so, but it's money down the hole at the moment. Is there any solution for this?

Problem solved...

The Archer C1200 is in the trash. All problems are gone that to my new AVM router.

I guess sometimes it pays of to pay a bit more...

@TFHfony

What is the led status of the Archer C1200? Especially the internet led and the wireless led.

When wifi connection disconnected, with your computer connected to the Archer C1200, please verify whether you can access internet and click here to check its IP address and gateway.

In the meantime, please try to access the web UI and show us a full screenshot of the status page.

Hi Kevin_Z I wil switch on the LED lights. As for checking anything inside the router: This is not possible.Since the wireless connection is down, I cannot connect to the router. Please note that the SSID's are gone, so there is no way for my laptops or phones to access the routers web UI. When the Wireless radio goes down, it will be back in a minute. In that amount of time, I will not have enough time to hook up a laptop, boot it up, change the network settings to wired and access the router. I will be up again by the time I have done so. Only the two TV's, PS4 and printer have a wired connection to the router. In theory, I could hook up my laptop with a LAN cable, and then sit in my hallway for a few hours with my laptop and phone, but that is not going to happen.

@Kevin_Z OK, it just happened again...

Nowhere near enough time to hook up a PC, but I did have a look at the LED's: The 2,4Ghz, 5Ghz & WAN LED were all green.
