How do i reset this? very annoting as i have searched the web page of TP link and there are no visible options to reset on the account input page.
With the RE450 powered on, please hold the reset button/hole for 1s to hard reset it.
After that, you can configure it. If you forgot the wifi password of the main router, first you can configure the RE450 with the WPS button. Instruction as below:

Note: In this way, the RE450 will copy the main router's wifi name, therefore you won't be able to detect the extender's wifi name.
Or you can contact the tech support of the main router to get the wifi password and configure the RE450.
