@Aloky

The wifi coverage of the TL-WR941HP is about 10-15 meters, combined with the interference, the actual coverage area may be larger or smaller.

Back to your case, we can change some settings  to optimize its wireless performance therefore enhance the wifi coverage area.

First, you can place your wireless device for optimal reception and performance. here is the instruction to do that: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/455/

Besides, you can use a clean channel without so many interference.

(Note: we could use the router's WDS function to detect the SSIDs around, and choose a free channel to set.)

Otherwise, you can buy a network expansion device to extend the wifi range, like range extender or powerline adapters.

May it help and have a good day.

Hello, With an HP device you shouldn't have such troubles. You don't tell us if the TL-WR941HP is your main router or if you have range extenders for example. If it is the sole Wi-Fi device, have you checked the "Coverage" section ? Is it at 100% ? Do other devices experience the same trouble as the smartphone ? Thanks
