@Seong

What is the current network diagram? How do you connect these devices together?

Please show us a screenshot of the error message.

Try to move the second unit closer to  the main Deco, do you have the same issue?

Can you detect the 5GHz network from the main router and get stable connection next to the second Deco which is located on 2nd floor?

Good day.

Good day. I have 2.4G and 5G from router, M4 is connected to my router by using Access Point Mode. I created new SSID name for M4. But, same password is the same for both.

When my taplet or smart phone detacted the signal from main router, it show 2 options,  2.4G and 5G. But, when these devices connected to the Wi-Fi from M4, only show one signal, no 2.4G or 5G for selection ? Is it auto detract and go for stronger option ( 5G as main and 2.4 G as secondary option ) ? If yes, how I identify it ?

At the moment, my M4 is connected to my router with Access Point Mode , use as booster to improve the speed and coverage. What happen if I am converting operation mode to router mode ? Is it better, in term of performance ? I am using 2 units of M4, main unit at 1st floor and second unit ay 2nd floor.

Last question, what is the best way to use M4, connect to router as booster ? Or connect to Modem and use it as router ?
