@Radeondutch

Thanks.

Deco M5

Was having some 10-30 second dropouts (upstream data) that were unexplained on Firmware 1.5.3.

Thought it was my ISP at first until I found this thread.

Manually upgraded to 1.5.4 and working a hell of a lot better.

@TP-Link

@FredxS

Just an update.

I've been running the 1.5.4 firmware for a 4 days.

It seems to be a lot better, but I still get the drop outs for 10 to 30 seconds occasionally (though less frequently that 1.5.3).

This seems to only be upstream traffic, download seems to be ok - i.e. i am still receiving packets in gaming/voice - but no one can hear me / game server doesn't respond to my input.

Ping trace is as per other user's screenshots where server is not responding (not where the pings are high).

I am also completely wired between the router node and my pc - so nothing to do with WiFi tech.

Hi,

I know this has been for 2 years already, but I am experiencing this now, whenever I test my speed test it suddenly drops or dips in speed and jump start at a lower speed.

Ex. Constant 120Mbps rising up to 180Mbps suddenly the reading stop after a few seconds it will start around 90 Mbps.

This may not affect streaming in youtube or netflix but in game/online games can clearly feel this it's like disconnecting every few seconds.

Please help this has been occuring for almost 2 weeks now.

Any update on this? I am currently at 1.5.3 firmware

edit: It's still the same I've update to 1.5.4 firmware, idk why.

Please help

@cawfee

If you are connected wirelessly then the first thing I did, which sorted my issue, was to disable mesh for the client you have the problem with.
