Hi All. I have had a number of BT Routers in the past that have provided WiFi to most of our house. We have an annex that we had to fit an Access Point to (WA901ND) All worked fine.

We have moved away from BT and I now have a SIM card and a MR6400.

When I connect the cable from the Access Point into the LAN port on the Hub, the AP doesn't see it.

The guy that fitted my AP is away on Leave, but has told me that he doesn't think it needs any configuration doing to it.

Can anyone advise what I should do please?

Much appreciated in advance,

Sam

@SackbutSam

The TL-WA901ND is plug and play, no configuration needed.

Please ensure that you can get internet from the TL-MR6400 with the sim card.

Then try to hard reset the TL-WA901ND by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with the access point powered on.

After that, reconnect the AP to the LAN port of the TL-MR6400 and verify whether it works well.

May it help and have a good day.

@SackbutSam

Thanks for your reply, glad to hear that it works finally.

Now you can enjoy the internet with the TP-Link devices.

Best regards.
