Cannot connect to router home page with USB Wifi dongle.
Hi,
My laptop has in-built wifi adapter. I recently bought TP-Link TL-WN823N 300Mbps Mini Wireless-N USB Adapter to connect with with my home router TP-Link TL-WR841HP.
I can connect to router homepage using http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 address via browser when connected to in-built WiFi adapter, however, I get "403 Forbidden" error when using TL-WN823N usb wifi adapter.
Can you please suggest what could be going wrong? I want to connect to my router home page using my newly bought Tplink wifi router.
Regards.

WIth built-in adapter connected to the TP-Link wifi, please click here to verify its IP address and gateway.
Then please disable built-in adapter first, and connect the TL-WN823N to the host wifi and check the IP and gateway again.
Please show us a picture of the information menyioned above.
Then with TL-WN823N connected to the wifi, please ping the gateway of the TL-WR841HP. And try to access the web UI again.
May it help and have a good day.

If you are buying new router be sure will it work with existing USB dongle or data card. If you are taking new Data card connection or dongle be sure it should work with your exisitng router or not.
