@BluePic

Hello, the official firmware for Deco M9 plus does not support web UI. The new firmware is on its way now, it will be coming soon. You can wait for the updates.

Or we offer a beta firmware you can install to get the new features first. Once the official one released, you can install it again.

May it help and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z

I have downloaded the latest firmware today, but the upgrade instructions require accessing the web interface to upload the firmware... I am still running the original firmware which, as you say, does not support a web management UI.

Using the Deco app on my phone and checking for updates, it says that my system is updated (firmware ver 1.2.10 Build 20190809 Rel. 54285).

I have a ver.2.0 HW Deco M9 Plus and from your support site I have downloaded firmware ver 1.2.13 Build 20200117 Rel. 50852. So there is obviously an update that the app is not detecting.

How can I upgrade the firmware without the web management UI?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This seems to answer a query I posted elsewhere here.

I was looking to hook these up (2 buildings on the same site) with the same look and feel/ecosystem/console as other tech in our network. We have TP-link switches.

Wonder whether I should direct my attention towards CISCO instead. Does anyone here know what their nearest equivalent to the Deco M9 Plus is?

Good God!

I've just noticed that people have been waiting for this for 8 months.

Is this thread up to date?

@SrDarkWarrior

Great!  Does the web UI work with V2 hardware?

Any chance of a link to a document that can help me answer questions like:

- Does it give me the ability to configure at least as much as the phone app?

- Does it let me see what is happening on the TP-link hosted WiFi estate, e.g.

- What devices/kind of devices are connected?

- What backhaul link is being used between APs (cat-5 or wifi)?

- What speed each link has?

- What error rate each link has?

- What volume of data has flowed up and down on the link?

- For inactive links, how long they've been inactive?

...
