MacOS 10.15 upgrade - no longer able to access USB storage on C3150 if authentication is enabled
I access the USB attached storage on the C3150 from Mac (wifi connnection) and PCs (wired LAN and wifi); prior to upgrading to MacOS Catalina I had no problems. Now, the Mac won't recognise the storage if I have the Authentication enabled (I've checked user names and password on PC too and it is functioning). Only if I turn off authentication will the USB become accessible.
Please advise.
TIA

What is the current hardware and firmware version of the Archer C3150?
With authentication eanbled, how did you access the USB storage via Mac? Is there any error message? Please show us a picture of it.
Meanwhile, can you access the encrypted storage via your PCs?
Best regards.

@Kevin_Z Hardware and firmware versions listed at start of post, what else is required?
The MAC error is simply one of - There was a problem connecting to the server "archer_c3150". Check server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.
So no real detail here on underlying reason, other than the authentification mode used on the Archer C3150 I think...
What mode is used?

Thanks for your requesting.
We did some tests and find out that some components on Mac have been upgraded with the update of MacOS, which causes that the Mac computer cannot access the USB storage.
We are working on it and try to offer a betw firmware for you to solve it.
Please wait a while, any updates, we will let you know.
Best regards.

Hi, what is the model number of your TP-Link device? When you try to access the USB device attached to the router, is there any error message? Please show us the screenshot, thanks.
Can you access the USB device if you disable the authentication? BTW, what is the detailed version of the Big Sur?
