Model: HA100
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hello

I have various devices (Win, Mac, mobile or desktop) that i can seemlesly connect with my HA100 bluetooth adapter.

Only my new mac book pro doesn't seem to find the bluetooth iadapter. Its not shown in the list of bluetooth devices.

Even on my other, 10 yrs old Mac running an old OS, I could manage to connect to the HA100 after a few attempts.

I tried several ways to build up a bluetooth connection with Mac OS X Mojave but did not come to an end.

Can anyone help me out herewith?

Thank you very much.

Dear Kevin Thank you for replying to my question. The OS version was Mojave. Meanwhile I have updated to Catalina. I managed to get a connection now. Just by being patient. While working on my mac, suddenly the connection appeared automatically as expected. It just took the Mac about 2 or 3 hours to recognize the HA100. So my case is solved ;) Hope that helps other users too. Just wait and be patient and this might be the solution. Best Paul

@Paul2019

What is the OS version of the Mac? Try to move them closer to each other and ensure that the led status on HA100 is white.

Besides, you can reboot the HA100 and your computer to give it a shot.

May it help and have a ncie day.

Hi guys! I'm having two issues too with my Macbook x TP Link HA100 connection. I have the TP Link adapter for some 5 years and my Macbook is Mid 2014 with Mac OS Catalina. Issue 1: lately, I realized that when I connect my MB with TP Link HA100, the sound looks a bit dirty, with a wheezing in the background, like an MP3 with low quality (using Deezer with maximum sound quality). Issue 2: the connection with MB and TP Link HA100 has some flaws and gaps, like one device was too far with another, even if the two devices are side to side. That issues don't happen when I connect my iPhone in the TP Link adapter, the sound is clear and with no gaps (using Deezer too). When I connect the Macbook with cable in my sound system, that two issues don't happen. It only happens when I connect Macbook x TP Link adapter by bluetooth... What can I do to resolve this? Since then, many thanks!

@fabioleda

Hello, does the HA100 work fine with your MacBook before? What's the model number and system version of the MacBook?

There are no settings on the HA100, you can try to reboot both of them and put them close to each other have a try.
