Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V12
Firmware Version: 1.2.8 Build 20190403 Rel. 43515

I, sometimes, am not able to connect to the wifi and it tells me that I am denied access. I read somewhere that it is due to the MAC address filtering but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I could only find the the method for regular routers. If someone could help me out that would be appreciated.

@izzfaris

For your information, the Deco M9 plus does not support Mac filtering. And it has nothing to do with it.

When this issue happened again, please disable fast roaming to give it a go.

Meanwhile, you can turn off 5GHz and enable 2.4GHz only.

May it help and have a nice day.

@Kevin_Z

Should I always keep fast roaming off? But I will say that it sometimes turns on/off automatically.

Fast roaming won't turn it on automatically, you need change it manually.

You can turn it off to connect the devices to the Deco wifi network first and then you can turn it on and verify whether the clients work well.

Best regards.
