Mesh with AVM 6591 ?
Hello, is there a Firmware Update available soon, for the AVM Mesh Funktion of the AVM 6591?
So far the switch between the same networks happens way to late, therefore we need to reconnect each time to access the network with the better signal.
Or is there a another work around without installing better signal apps on all devices?

What is the model number of your device? Is it RE650?
The AVM 6591 you mentioned is a Fritz box.
For the firmware of RE650, you can click https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/re650/#Firmware

@Kevin_Z sorry for the late reply, somehow I missed the notice of your answer
I bought this tp-link AC 2600 Mu-Mimo Wi-Fi Range Extender RE 650 to use it in combination with a FritzBox 6591 Cable FW 7.03
I did upgrade the firmware to RE650(EU)_V1_190521 also, noticed no change
RE 650 set up as range extender: dhcp off - ssid 2,4 and 5 same name as FritzBox ssid
My Problem is, if I switch the area and get into the area with the better RE650 signal, soon as the wlan devices try to change or switch to the extender i get the pulsing flashing error signal on the wi fi symbol with an exclamation point and it not working automatically like it should
it seems like it's not transferring the client to the RE 650, seems like the fightig for the device and not selecting the one with the stronger signal
Only workaround is to turn wi fi off on the device and reconnect, then it switches to the RE 650
Any Help is appreciated .....

What is the led status of the RE650?
How far away between the router and the RE650?
Please ensure that the RE650 can get a good signal from the main router from which it is located at.
Try to connect your computer to the RE650 by wired cable and click here to get the IP address and gateway;
You can try to reset and reconfigure it with the main router's wifi password; this time, try to give a different name for the extender's network.
May it help.

Hello, thanks for your valued reply.
You can create a different name for the extender to do a comparison analysis.
Besides, you can adjust the wireless settings of the main router, including the wireless channel and channel width.
For 2.4GHz, use channel 1, 6 or 11 and channel width 20MHz, for 5GHz, use channel 36, 40 or 44 and channel width as 40MHz.
Please ensure that the firmware of the main router is up to date.
If possible, you can connect the RE650 to another wireless network to test its performance.
Besides, may I know when and where did you buy this RE650?
Good day.

PS: Another detail I just found out, the RE650 can not repeat the Guest Network of the FB which comes with a different Channel, that's to bad, since the Guest are always on the upper level and the FB is on ground floor and the RE 650 in the middle, so my Guest Network is very weak and it shouldn't be that way, any solution for this, possible ??

Hello, you can login to the web UI of the RE650 and enable the DHCP server; there please customize the DHCP IP range, to make it in the same subnet of the main router. For example, if the main router uses 192.168.1.100-192.168.1.199, you can use 192.168.1.200-192.168.1.250 for RE650.
While if still the same, it is strongly recommended to create a different SSID for the RE650 to verify whether it is the mesh network causes the current issue-- Devices failed to roam seamlessly between mesh network and RE650.
And the RE650 need keep the same channel with the front-end device, in this way, it can boost either the host network or the guest network.
Good day.
