Hi guys,

I got this router recently and using it with shared hard disk. Disk is plugged in permanently to USB port.

It works great most of the time, but every now and then (i'd say every couple of weeks) the disk share disappears and is no longer accessible. It is visible in the router web interface as connected and shared however, but no computers or devices can connect to it on the network.

The only way to make it work again is to unplug and plug in the disk again or reboot the router.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Dan

@dannyd

How do you access the USB drive and any error message pops up when it is unaccessible?

Note: Please show us some pictures of it.

What is the model number of capacity of the USB drive and what is the patrition format?

Have you ever tried to format the USB drive or change another HDD to give it a go?

What is the operating system and OS version of devices which used to access the HDD?

Please ensure that the current firmware is up to date.

Good day.
