Mounting Deco
Boring question - but I need to mount one Deco M5 on a wall - I was surprised that it had no screw lugs on the back of the unit. Has anyone any suggestions as to how best to mount the unit?
Thanks

Anyone try mounting a deco (M9) in a Legrand onq enclosure (https://www.legrand.us/plastic-enclosures.aspxf) ?

@sparty01 I use this self-designed wall mount for Deco M9+
go to thingiverse look for /thing:4441436
It works fine, it does not take up table space and the airflow around the unit is much better that way.
I would not put the M9+ in a closed box, it needs air cooling.

@cacb Thanks for your response! Very creative holder indeed.
But in my case I am installing in the legrand onq enclosure and won't be able to use the screws for the holder.

@sparty01 that enclosure looks very nice. For custom mounting of stuff inside such an enclosure, a 3D printer is your friend. My wall mount was 3D printed.
But: As noted above, I would think twice before putting the Deco M9+ inside a plastic enclosure without proper air circulation, it is a potential fire hazard. Also, the Deco M9+ does not like it when it gets too hot, it seems to throttle down the speed to 100 Mbit/s when it happens.
So my suggestion is to put the Deco outside that enclosure.
