Hi Everyone,

My first assignment with tp-link router is to attach my wireless Pixma 495 Canon printer to a wi-fi lan.

Could anyone explain or write reference for this mission?

There do have a WPS button on the TL-WR741ND.  See pic below:

 

Meanwhile, to use the WPS button, please ensure that your printer supports wps function. 

 

Besides, per I said before, you can connect your printer to the TP-Link wifi via the password. Like you did on your smart phone or so.

Do you want  to connect your Canon printer to the TP-Link wifi? 

 

If so, first, please ensure that you can detect the TP-Link wifi on the printer, and then you can enter the wireless password to connect to it.

 

You can use the WPS menthod to give it a go if the printer supports it.

@Kevin_Z There is no WPS on my TP-LINK router.

How do I connect my Canon Pixma 495 to te router?
