@Nirakar

Hello, you can try to use the TFTP firmware recovery menthod to give it a go.

You can read this article to get some instruction.

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/582

If still the same, I'm afraid that there is not much we can do.

Wish you good luck.

Many times once you brick a router, that is the end of it. Some of those custom firmware packages on some routers are non reversible. They are a hack by hackers. Big issue is you need to get the router into the load firmware mode that generally require a working router.

@Kevin_Z I tried it. The firmware gets downloaded completely but my router doesn't restart. It just blinks again and again. I think it's time to buy a new one. Thanks for your help.

@Kevin_Z As far as I know to flash the firmware the router needs to be reset.But in my case the router is not getting into reset mode.Even after holding the reset button for more than 30 seconds all the leds kept glowing and nothing noticable happened.Correct me if I am wrongly doing anything.

@RAKA

What's the model number of the TP-Link router? If it is Archer C8, You can follow the User Manual to reset it, press and hold the reset button for more than 5 seconds to reset the router to its factory default settings. No need to press the button for as long as 30 seconds.

If the reset process cannot be finished by pressing the reset button, nor can you login to its web management page to restore it, you may contact the local tech support to ask if they have other suggestions.
