Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi

I buy the TP-link M7650 fort my travel to US an d Mid Americas.

Simcard from Three.

In the US only 2G access.

Some conversation with: myprivathotspot.com tells me that this model is not for US. It is EU model. This information  was not on the website of the webshop

Why selling Models only for Europe where everybody has datroaming access?

So I buy a 150 euro thing what doesn't work here.

Saturday I leave US to Mexico without access.

I'm now in Tucson

Can TP-link advice tot do? Or someone else

@Stan144

You can try to create the connection profile manually with the APN information and verify whether it works better.

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1663/

Besides, the signal strength relates to the actual network environment; sometimes, the rural area has weaker signal due to the distance.

And for the 2G access, what is the actual speed you can get? You can adjust the wireless settings, including wireless channel and channel width to improve its performance and ensure that the firmware is up to date.

Good day.
