Model: Deco M9 Plus
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.19.13

Hello

In my Vigor Router 2132F I forwarded port 8080 to my Deco M9 for Domoticz (Raspberry pi).

But this was not working, on my phone the Domoticz app gave a time out.

So it finally struck me that I had to forward the port in de Deco app too and YES it worked!!

But only for one our.....the time out is back and I think the problem is the Anti-Virus build in the Deco M9, I see 3 threaths for the Raspberry pi.

But If I temporarily turn the Anti Virus off, it does not help, I still get a time-out.

Does anyone have a sugestion?

Regards Rob

@Robbyw

What is the current network diagram? How do you connect these devices together?

With the Deco M9 plus works in regular router mode, what is the internet IP address of it? Is it a public address or private one?

How do you connect the Domoticz to the Deco M9 plus? When it gives you the time out, does it still work and does it obtain the valid IP address?

@LeSneuque the solution was to forward the port in de Deco app :

example:

external port : 8080

Internal ip adres: your domoticz internal adress

internal port : 8080

This is also the solution if you want to control your raspberry by ssh by external port 22

Why it stopped working the first time I don't know, with this solution I have no problems anymore.

Regards, Robert
